The Cooking Truth v2.0

Howdy,.. It is time for me to explain myself to all of you and give you an answer as to why this blog 'disappeared'

It is simple, I posted random thoughts about food.. After sitting back for a good while I realized all I was doing was spitting out fact after fact, reason after reason.. Topics and facts you could easily find on wikipedia or even just a google search.. For that, I apologize...  I want this blog (eventually website) to be what you cant find.. And, in the end, hopefully what you default to when you have a culinary question..

So, the only way I can think of to give this blog a 'rebirth' is to do what I think is the best..

Who am I?, why am I here?, and, most importantly, why are you spending your time reading this....

Well, here is why..

I cook.  I make food.  When cooking goes wrong, I fix it.. That is what I am paid to do... If you ever send food back to the kitchen because it was not right, its me that fixes it and gets it back to you 'on the fly'...

I am not a Master Chef.. I am not an Executive Chef.. I'm not even a great Chef... What I am, is just a Chef...

So, what the hell is the difference?

Here are the extremes:

Master Chef - This is a person that knows absolutely anything and everything about any ingredient on Earth.  Every known idea, and, anything anyone else hasn't even thought of yet.. There are only around 300 true Master Chefs... In the entire world..

Chef - A person that creates food thru known knowledge of basic ingredients and techniques... So, me...

I cook, it is what I do.. Thanks to my knowledge, personal skills, and, most importantly, my experience; I can 'fix' any food that has gone wrong...

I am Chef Mac.. I fix food.
